WHO WE ARE
South East Wales Chartered Accountant Students' Society (SEWCASS) is the society which represents those people training to be chartered accountants in the South East Wales area.
Any individual under a training contract with the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) or with ICAS (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland) is automatically a member of their local student society. Please note that ICAS students are not automatically subscribed to SEWCASS, this must be done by individual firms.
The society's organisation is run by the committee, made up of students from firms across the region, and they represent you as provisional members of the institute. SEWCASS also represents students from the region on the ICAEW Student Council.
Our aim as a committee is to enhance students' personal development
and improve networking skills within the accountancy community through
the organisation of social and work-related events throughout the
calendar year.
